Well bollox to that

I'm thinking too technical, poo!
I think I might explore some ideas I gave up on. I originally thought the project had to be actually feasible but now I know i gotta just open up and put the idea before the tech. Circumventing my normal process of though.

You thought that change was big?

So the whole plant idea is scrapped. It's boring, slow and I've run out of ways to interface the colour change :(

Another big change

Back to a real plant now, but I'm going to link it to the water wastage of a household. The more water you waste the worse light the plant gets. Water is something we associate with the life of a plant, but light not so much, this makes one control the other and show light is just as important.

Whoops!

So it seems people will connect to a virtual pet like a tama because it has a face and a perceived personality. A CG plant wont have the same effect, time to change it up...

Bit of a change

So forget the real plant, it may be like a digital projection or a 3D model of a plant so the growing can be more instant that a real plant. I think I might make a game out of it, like a tamagachi.

A slight adjustment

So rather than the persons mood it'll controlled by something else. Not sure what yet.

Light Research

A little history into the physics of light.

At first light was believed to be an atom like particle. It bounced off things into our eyes and that's how we saw the world.
Then it was discovered that light behaved like and had the properties of a wave.
So which is it?

Essentially giving you the versatility and accuracy of a Wacom Intuos on your iPad and the "ruler" displays shapes (Lines, circles, angles, more downloadable packs to be released) on the screen to aid you in drawing:
